Why M.I.Y Drone?
It's more than D.I.Y
As you might know, D.I.Y stands for 'Do It Yourself', but the process of making drones isn't that simple to be called 'Doing'. To make a drone, you must learn the basic hardware structures of drones, how each component makes harmony with others to make it fly, and even the sophisticated software system to program it.
In this respect, 'Make' is definitely a more appropriate term. So it is just what it is.
Okay then what is OpenMakerDrone?
Just a community which supports M.I.Y Drone movements.
OpenMakerDrone is a community to help pioneers who are interested in making their own drone and improving it on software or hardware system with effort. The name itself indicates what we aim.
Open : The source from this community is basically open-source unless there is a explicit statement.
Maker : This community is for makers who enjoy the process of making something and reap the benefit of hard work.
Drone : We try to handle many hardware and software topics, particularly about drones.

About Us
The main office is located in Korea, and there are 3 founding members. The project at Yonsei university gave us the chance to meet together.
